Safe Exit

We're still here 24 hours a day!

Two years after the emergence of the coronavirus, we did not expect to find ourselves in the current conditions we are all managing. How's it going at La Casa?  What does the most recent surge mean for accessing domestic violence support and services?

We're still here 24 hours a day.  Call our hotline toll-free at 877-503-1850 or text us for support at 415-200-3575.

Our Drop In Center is open for survivor support Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5 pm. Please expect to be screened for COVID-19 symptoms upon arrival and to maintain 6 feet of distance between yourself and other people. You can also reach a counselor at the Center by phone at 415-503-0500.

Emergency Shelter is still an option for those facing imminent danger as a result of domestic violence. Please call the hotline at 877-503-1850 for more information.

These are hard times, especially for people living and working in public or shared spaces. We get it. The coronavirus continues to interrupt expected patterns of life and the presumed safety of daily activities, school and work environments. Protect yourself and the people around you. Get vaccinated and boosted, whenever eligible. Wear a properly fitted N95 mask, or double up in public.

While the prolonged stress of this pandemic is wearing, La Casa's commitment to our mission is unwavering.

La Casa de las Madres responds to calls for help from domestic violence victims, of all ages, 24 hours a day, 365 days a tear. We give survivors the tools to transform their lives. We seek to prevent future violence by educating the community and by redefining public perceptions about domestic violence.
