Matea Meadows-Hills

Matea joined La Casa de las Madres in September 2025 and currently serves as Teen Program Coordinator. With a strong belief in the importance of connection and personal growth, her work centers on building community and confidence among youth. She brings experience developing educational programming and working directly with at-promise and incarcerated teenagers in alternative school settings.

At La Casa, Matea provides peer counseling and direct support to youth impacted by intimate partner violence while facilitating outreach, educational presentations, support groups, and workshops. Through this work, she strives to educate, empower, and support individuals as they navigate challenges and build healthy relationships and futures. As Teen Program Coordinator, Matea oversees community partnerships and program coordination to expand access and reach more youth.
