Jaya Drohan

Jaya Drohan, our Director of Community Engagement, joined La Casa in 2023. With a passion for purpose driven missions, she gained her professional expertise from working with various NGO’s in South Carolina, Colorado, and Peru. Day-to-day she supervises La Casa’s Teen Program, Volunteer Program, and Prevention Education / Outreach Program. She educates our community through educational social media content, workshops and training, and by facilitating La Casa’s state-mandated 40-Hour Domestic Violence Counselor Training.

Jaya remains personally connected to La Casa’s mission through shared experience with survivors of domestic violence, which you can feel through her intentionality and presence in the work she does.
