Domestic violence is a longstanding epidemic, directly affecting 2 out of 3 Californians. Not only did the pandemic intensify cycles of violence and amplify survivors’ risk by compounding social isolation, physical isolation, and economic strain, every day it becomes more difficult for a single mother on a low-income to survive in the San Francisco Bay Area.

This dynamic group of individuals came together at monthly meetings to help La Casa plan and executed a sizzling cocktail party! From fundraising, to guest list building, to appetizer choices, this committee is the backbone of our biggest event of the year.
