La Casa accepts new, unused clothing at our Drop in Counseling Center, 1663 Mission Street, Suite 225. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to coordinate a drop off.
La Casa de las Madres strives to provide survivors with the basic necessities they need, including safe shelter, emergency food, and clothing. We have limited storage capacity, however. While we keep our “clothing closet” and basic supplies on hand, we often receive a higher volume of clothing and household donations than we can handle.
In partnership with the Community Thrift Store, we are able to utilize more of your new or gently used clothing, furniture, and housewares to benefit the women, teens, and families we serve, when you donate directly to the Community Thrift Store.
How Does it Work?
When you take your in-kind donation to the Community Thrift Store and make it in La Casa’s name, your contribution will transform into shopping vouchers that La Casa provides to the women and families in our programs. These vouchers are redeemed for necessities at the thrift store, providing a direct link between your donation and our program participants.
