Community Education & Outreach
We are all responsible for creating a culture in which healthy relationships and safety are accessible to all people. Through community eudcation & outreach, we teach individuals to recognize the signs of abuse and understand why it happens, gain skills to support individuals in unhealthy relationships, and increase public awareness of domestic violence.

+ Domestic Violence 101
Through this workshop, you’ll gain an increased understanding of domestic violence, its signs, & its causes. We will discuss the impact domestic violence has on survivors & their communities, and situate our conversation about how domestic violence is rooted in imbalances of power. You will leave the training with tools and strategies to support survivors and their communities.
Duration: 1 - 2 hours
+ Supporting Survivors & Safety Planning
In this workshop, you will deepen your skillset to provide support to the survivors in your life and community. We will use case studies, roleplays, and other exercises to build your ability to empower survivors and offer trauma-informed support.
Duration: 1 - 2 hours
+ Teen Dating Violence Workshop
This workshop can be tailored to fit the needs of teens and adults alike. Gain deeper insight to the unique context of young people in unhealthy relationships, and understand how to support youth navigating these complex situations while affirming their right to self-determination.
Duration: 1 - 1.5 hours
+ Housing, Homelessness, & Domestic Violence
The intersection of housing insecurity and domestic violence is undeniable. You will walk away from this training with a deeper understanding of the links between homelessness and domestic violence. We will discuss safety planning and other tools to support survivors in these challenging contexts.
Duration: 1 - 1.5 hours
+ Healthy Relationships Workshop
This workshop is for survivors and community members. We will discuss different aspects of healthy relationships: trust, safety, self-determination, and autonomy, and unpack our needs to understand how to better cultivate relationships that serves us.
Duration: 1 - 2 hours
