La Casa offers training for a variety of audiences and purposes to help ensure that survivors have access to the life-saving services and support they need.

  • Our Domestic Violence Counselor Training prepares new staff, volunteers, and community partners to work with survivors, understanding the multifaceted issues that intersect with experiences of domestic violence
  • Our Trainings for Law Enforcement provide law enforcement personnel with information and tools to identify victims’ needs and facilitate their access to services
  • Our Trainings for Supervised Visitation Providers prepare supervised visitation site staff to offer survivors skilled assistance as they implement shared custody and visitation arrangements with their batterers
  • Our Trainings for Safe Housing Providers strengthen the response of subsidized housing communities to incidents of domestic violence through trainings for property management and support services staff
