Legal Assistance

Skilled legal service coordination ensures that victims’ time-sensitive civil legal needs, like restraining orders, receive immediate attention.  We offer court accompaniment to survivors attending family court hearings, helping them feel safe and supported during what can feel like daunting legal proceedings.  For a woman or teen who must face her batterer in court, the presence of a support person during a hearing can bolster feelings of confidence and safety.
