Over the next few months as we celebrate La Casa‚Äôs 35 years, radio listeners across the Bay Area will hear vital messages about teen dating and domestic violence‚ÄĒand how to access help if needed‚ÄĒthanks to an exciting partnership with Clear Channel Media + Entertainment/San Francisco!¬† Representing seven radio stations, CCM+E San Francisco selected La Casa as the recipient of a three-month public service campaign that will broadcast more than 2,500 public service announcements over Bay Area airwaves and utilize online media to further propel these messages.
Clear Channel Communities‚ĄĘ, the community engagement brand of CCM+E, selected La Casa as its campaign partner from among other local nonprofits.¬† Multiple messages will air over the three month campaign, including one celebrating La Casa‚Äôs 35 years of services and supports for survivors of domestic violence and their children.

From July 1st ¬†through September, the PSAs will air on Star 101.3, 91.8 KISS FM, 106 KMEL, KOSF 103.7, WiLD 94.9, Newstalk 910, and 960 KNEW.¬† Kicking off the campaign in July are a PSA to raise awareness of teen dating violence and La Casa‚Äôs 24 hour teen crisis line, and a second message encouraging all community members to play a part in ending domestic violence.¬† A web-based PSA on each of the stations‚Äô online Community Calendars will be live throughout the three month campaign.
A third message celebrating La Casa‚Äôs 35 years of services will begin to air August 1st.¬† To celebrate and mark these 35 years, the message will ask for the community‚Äôs help in building a list of 35 Relationship Lessons to Live By, to break the cycle of violence.¬† Community members who visit www.lacasa.org and click on ‚ÄúLessons to Live By‚ÄĚ will be able to submit their favorite relationship lesson to live by.¬† Then, La Casa will feature the top 35 Lessons to Live By on our website to kick of Domestic Violence Awareness Month in October!¬† So beginning August 1st, make sure to listen out for this message on the Clear Channel stations, and look for the ‚ÄúLessons to Live By‚ÄĚ link at www.lacasa.org to share your favorite lesson!
