A City With A World Class Heart

Mayor Lee and La Casa de las Madres

On the steps of city hall this morning, standing alongside La Casa’s Executive Director Kathy Black, Mayor Lee encouraged San Francisco residents and business to support essential services like those La Casa de las Madres provides to local women of all ages, teens, and children.

…we need to support our fellow San Franciscans who need our help right now.  During these tough economic times, we want San Francisco to be proud to say ‘we’re a City with a world class heart’ and I encourage everyone to open their hearts and give to the charities of their choice.”  Read more from the San Francisco Mayor’s Office.

La Casa thanks YOU for your support, and we encourage you to explore our website to learn more about our work, volunteer opportunities, and the impact you can make for local women, teens, and children surviving domestic violence.
