Strike Out Violence Day

Join La Casa de las Madres and the Giants Community Fund for the 13th Annual Strike Out Violence Day with the San Francisco Giants at AT&T Park on Sunday, September 14th!

We need enthusiastic volunteers to help sell raffle tickets to game spectators for the chance to win autographed Giants jerseys as the Giants take on the Dodgers!  With a sold out crowd, if each spectator were to purchase 1 raffle ticket, we’d raise more than $80,000 in just a few hours!  This event also provides an important opportunity to educate thousands of people about domestic violence and the services that La Casa de las Madres provides.

This is the 13th year in a row that La Casa de las Madres will be the benefactor of “Jerseys off Our Giants”- a game-day fundraiser of The Giants Community Fund, in collaboration with the San Francisco Giants’ Strike Out Violence Day!  Our highest-selling volunteers will be rewarded with prizes, and everyone will enjoy a day behind the scenes at AT&T Park knowing that your efforts are supporting vital services for domestic violence survivors citywide.  Volunteers will need to arrive by 9:30am and will volunteer through the end of the 6th inning, estimated around 3:30pm.

Please note that this is not an appropriate volunteer event for infants and children.

To sign up to volunteer, email us with your name, email address, and phone number.  You will receive email confirmation when you’ve been added to the volunteer list.  For more information, email or call Jamie at 415-503-0500.

All volunteers must register directly with Jamie, but you can also join the Facebook event.
