6:00 - 9:30 pm
111 Minna Gallery
San Francisco, CA
La Casa de las Madres was thrilled to host our 6th annual redHOT* Party, toasting over 35 years of advocacy, shelter and support for survivors of domestic violence. On Thursday, October 3, we Ignited Change to End the Cycle of Violence and kick off Domestic Violence Awareness Month at 111 Minna Gallery. This year’s redHOT* was an evening filled with delicious hors d’oeuvres, tasty cocktails, and auctions featuring items from prestigious restaurants, vineyards, and experiences from across the Bay Area!
All proceeds of the event support California’s oldest domestic violence shelter and unwavering domestic violence advocate – La Casa de las Madres. La Casa provides expert intervention and prevention services to more than 60,000 community members each year, offering emergency residential shelter and community-based services to women, teens and their children while providing advocacy, counseling, family-based services and referrals. La Casa’s Drop in Center office houses two 24 hour crisis phone lines, Counseling Services, Teen Programing, and Community Education and Outreach Programing, while off-site La Casa runs the Emergency Shelter, Domestic Violence Response Team, Safe Havens Project, and Safe Housing Project. All of La Casa’s services are multilingual, free of charge and confidential.Donate Today
